You ran as fast as you could through the busy school hallways, trying to avoid crashing into as many people as you could without being late to your next class. Science.  You absolutely loved science which your parents couldn’t fully understand since they were both English majors.  “It’s not creative! Just factual! “ Your mother would always say, “Yes it is, mom! You can make atoms into elements then creatures! It’s so creative!” You pushed those thoughts aside and made it to your class just as the bell rang. “Well Miss. (insert last name)! Tardy again I see…How many times must we go over this, Be in your seat BEFORE the bell rings” your evil Science teacher Mr. Yag yelled as you made your way over to your seat. “Yes Mr.Nag” you mumbled under your breath.  As you sat down beside your good friend Kiku, he handed you a note. “We’re getting a new student,” it read. You groaned as he took the note back. Another jerky guy in your class was the last thing you could have wanted. All the guys at your school were loud and annoying, except for a few like Kiku and Feliciano…okay… maybe not Feli. You were halfway through writing out the structure of a comet and what elements it’s composed of when there was a knock on the classroom door. “Ah. That must be our new student. Come in!” Mr. Yag called. The door slowly opened and a drop dead gorgeous boy walked in, a book bag slung over his right shoulder.  He had slicked back blond hair, sapphire blue eyes, and of course a flannel and jeans, the typical clothing for boys at your school.

“Please introduce yourself, son, “ Mr.Yag said, smiling wide at your new classmate, making you and several others shudder in disgust.  The blond haired boy shifted on the balls of his feet before taking a shaky breath in. “My name is Ludwig Beilshmit. I’m from Berlin, Germany and I’m 17. “  Your mortal enemy Sandra Jones smirked and whispered something to her little popular clique. Sandra and you have been enemies for years. Her perfect body, hair, and life seemed to put your and several other peoples lives to shame. “Wonderful, Please sit down beside (name) Ludwig. She’ll be your new lab partner for the year. (Name) make sure our new student gets a tour of our school at lunch, okay?” You nodded and Ludwig made his way to the back of the classroom, sitting next to you and placing his bag on the floor.
“Hallo…it’s nice to meet you.” He held out his hand and offered you a small smile. Common courtesy? Was this dude from some other planet! Nobody except Kiku was that formal.  You shook his hand firmly as your father taught you “Hi, I’m (name). Can I see your schedule?” He nodded and handed it to you. You chuckled. “What’s so funny, frau?” You smiled warmly “I have every class with you. I guess I’ll be seeing you a lot more than I want” He raised an eyebrow and began to take down notes on supernovas. “We’ll see about that~”
